Born in Boise, ID I grew up as the oldest of two. Early on, I developed a love of design and beauty. I started ballet at 4 and was determined that was my profession for life. I danced in the Idaho Civic Ballet company and American Festival Ballet Company and learned my discipline at a very young age. I designed hair and make up for many performances. By the age of 13 I had already started doing my friends, neighbors, and families hair. It was at this time that I knew what I wanted to do with my life. Upon graduating from high school, I entered Boise State University majoring in marketing and accounting, with a minor in art. Upon graduating, I started The Entertainment Book in Southern Idaho receiving 4 Top awards and was honored as the Top Account Executive in the Western U.S. Still having a passion for beauty I decided to embark on that dream. I enrolled in cosmotology school graduating with honors and quickly found work. I worked hard at building a clientelle and opened my own salon in 2000 with just 1 employee-MYSELF! I slowly expanded and added the spa in 2005. I just recently expanded once again opening my brand new Salon and Spa in February 2008. The most important lesson I learned was the importance of pushing the envelope and not being afraid to take risks. My technique has continued to evolve to the present day.
I am currently a professional, working from my Salon and Spa in Boise, Idaho. I enjoy meeting other professionals and following the latest trends as well as making my own. I enjoy staying educated in my field to the highest level possible. Although I am highly sought after, I am always open to new projects and ideas. No job is too big or too small.
